Vermont is among my favorite U.S. destinations, in no small part due to the fact that it's the home of the Morgan horse, America's first horse breed.
Make the time to explore this region of the U.S., and you'll see stunning scenery, meet genuinely kind people and eat cool foods (oh, Vermont, you and your poutine!). You'll also learn a fair bit of history in the most enchanting way; if you're at all like this Midwesterner, you'll realize that you've only been getting half the story - maybe less - your whole life.
Preview your next trip here with a few highlights, and watch my YouTube channel for videos about other destinations. We have some fun places to experience in the next year, and I'm already counting down until the day when we can leave (again).
Brookfield, Vermont - Morgan Mile
Vermont Morgan Heritage Days - Tunbridge, Vermont
Church Street and Waterfront - Burlington, Vermont
Hotel Coolidge - White River Junction, Vermont
